I have had a wonderful experience with this office. The doctors and staff are very sweet and patient and willing to answer any questions that you may have. The have a great late policy which allows you up to 15min past your appointment time before they make you reschedule. This is my first pregnancy and I have been completely satisfied with the service.
Every appointment I have I laugh with the nurses, the front desk ladies are jovial, and I feel relaxed and not anxious.
I feel like not enough people take the time to comment, except for the grouchy ones.
Riverside has been nothing but wonderful to me so far. They took me on 27 weeks into my pregnancy and have treated me like I'm a priority since day one. The entire staff may not be female, but the gentleman doctors are incredibly kind and each have a great sense of humor.
The staff is horrible and rude. They think every young black girl has to have different dads for their child or they don't know who the father is. I've lost a baby due to this hospital and its ob gyn doctors and staff. They are just the worse hospital to go to. If you like want to keep your pregnancy go to another doctor!!
When I went into triage for cramping, no one made me feel stupid or like I shouldn't be there. They treated me like I was a family member. Lots of relaxed conversation, they answered every question, and it felt like I was dealing with a friend instead of just normal sterility.
I will never go to another Sentara run place again. If you're looking for an OB, or even just a new hospital, please look into Riverside.
The doctors here have all been pretty good, but this review is for the front desk and how they handle the patients. They are HORRIBLE when it comes to getting you in on time. They expect you to arrive on time, then keep you in the waiting area for over 30 minutes past your appt time before you see the doctor. For us, it's typically between 45 mins to an hour. Today, the doctor apparently had to leave due to illness and the front desk never bothered to inform us until we asked what was taking so long. So they have to reschedule a month out. They obviously have no respect or courtesy for their patient's schedule.
The blood work done here is great too! I'm not a fan of needles and the ladies in employ here are so great at it, I don't even wince.
The staff is super sweet! My daughter Kristen works there. Some of my friends are patients are Love the service they receive. Plus the waiting room is Purple. They don't discriminate because of race, creed, color or nationality. Give them a try. You will love them too!
