I went to another nail salon after this to get them fixed. I was told that either there were too many coats of gel polish or the gel polish was applied too thick and that was causing the polish to crack. However, my actual acrylic nail was perfectly fine.
Had several interactions with staff. Had 1 hair cut which was great but I find the staff not forth coming with information on pricing. Makes me wonder why they cannot tell you what their prices are - even just general pricing. Ridiculous! Looking elsewhere
The Bad and the Ugly: I cannot vouch for this salon's hair services. However, this is the worst nail experience I've ever had so I wouldn't count on hair either. I went in on a Friday to get my nails done. Everything seemingly went well. I got a full set with gel polish, stiletto cut. Though one nail was slightly crooked, which I was fine to forgive, my initial experience was lovely. After going home that night only to watch TV and go to bed, I woke Saturday morning to find three nails had cracks in the GEL polish. I called the salon that afternoon and they apologized and said if I came in they would fix them. So Saturday afternoon I came in and got them fixed. The nail tech told me that I had obviously been too hard on them (flipping channels on the remote is apparently a challenge). However, after listening to her constant ongoing chatter about how I wasn't careful enough for 45 minutes, and her painting two of my nails the WRONG color and having to take it off and paint them again, my nails looked great again. Sunday went just fine (and I did nothing strenuous for the nails, unless you consider going to the aquarium and reading a textbook hard). Monday I woke again only to find the gel polish was cracked all the way across a thumb nail and starting to crack on others as well. Having already spent nearly 3 hours at that salon over the weekend, I called requesting a refund. I was told by David that they had already tried to fix my problem and after I had left Saturday, he had spoken with the nail tech and she had told him I broke two of my acrylic nails, which is completely FALSE. My acrylics were not budging one bit and she did nothing to repair them so she must've though so too. All she did was repaint my nails. After telling me that I must be way too hard on my nails and most other people were happy with theirs, he told me that I would not receive a refund. He offered for me to come in AGAIN to get them fixed, but for what? For me to spend another hour at that salon listening to the nail tech tell me I was too rough (when obviously I was not) and wake up Tuesday or Wednesday morning to the same fate? No thank you! Terrible experience!
In the end, unless you'd like a gel manicure that lasts about 2 days, I wouldn't visit this place to get your nails done. Extremely unhappy.
I get my hair done by Sydney and I absolutely love it. I haven't gotten highlights in over a year because I was scared of going to someone other than my old stylist from ga. The cut and color are perfect and he listened to everything I wanted and made me look amazing.
This salon has the greatest atmosphere! And everyone who works here is extremely nice! I got my nails done here for the first time ever before a performance of mine, and the woman who did my nails mentioned that she was interested in coming to see it. She ACTUALLY SHOWED UP! That just shows how much these people care for their customers! She also did a MARVELOUS job at making my nails perfectly symmetrical shaped! I've never had a nail salon actually round my nails the way I want them, until now! I will DEFINITELY be back!
The Good: Salon is clean and lovely. You get a cup of tea or coffee when you walk in the door.
