This school is awesome! I really enjoyed my classes there. I had very helpful instructors and Admissions officers. I now work at a very good doctor's office and going back to school for the RN program. If you give 100% to the medical field you will get 100% back. I would tell anyone that's trying to work, raise a family, and get a degree to come to Medical Careers Institute.
Terrible school. I could sit here and write horror story after horror story that I experienced at this school but I don't have hours to write it all! In a nutshell, the school is terrible, extremely over priced and out of 32 people I graduated with only 3 others! Find somewhere else!
I called this campus to find out information on X ray course and was transferred to Carol and she was trying to close me like if I was in a timeshare presentation. She was extremely rude and did not want to answer any of my questions after asking me several personal questions. I was more than happy to answer them, however when I asked her about the course, like how long, how much and so own she became very rude and saying it is complicated and I would have to come in person. When I kept asking for a simple answer she told me she was busy with a future student that was sitting right in front of her. Now this is hard to believe. Why would you take a call if you are busy with someone? This is when she told me we are not understanding each other and transferred me to Paula, her boss and Paula told me that it will cost me $7900 per semester and it would be somewhere between 4 to 5 semesters and a $275 fee. Paula did her job. I wish I had gotten my answers instead of going through this bad experience. I would not go to this school. Just imagine how they would treat you after they get your money.
Aweful. Went to this school in 2012 and it is still the worst mistake of my life.
