Great hidden hem! The kids live it.
I have had pieces broken, while waiting to get fired, pieces have gone missing & I am still waiting for pieces to get fired that have been there, for 5 months, with no explanation on why these pieces haven't been fired. (Lack of communication on their part)
Nice little gallery to spend an hour or so at. Also inexpensive.
The museum and gift shop section is very nice but if you're taking a ceramics class there.... Buyer beware! This place used to be great for taking classes & was pretty dependable about getting your works fired but they have had a change of staffing in the last 6 months & the instruction, communication & service has slid tremendously downhill. I would not recommend this place for ceramics classes.
Wonderful place to visit when it's a child and then as an adult and plan to take my own children one day
Nice display of theme... DREAM HOUSE REMIX. Very creative and eye-catching details in all exhibition rooms. The guide for the exhibit was helpful and gave a lot of insight into some of the work I wish it was a bigger place, but a small place that changes exhibitions often is what I like about the PFAC. Only spent about 45 minutes inside and in the sculpture garden. Love the kids' art creation studio for young ones to work with everyday things to create.
This review is for their ceramics classes, I'm sure other classes they offer such as jewelry making, needle felting, and painting are still fine to take unless they cleared out those instructors too.
